Predators Claim Boychuk, Bennett Called Back Up to Pittsburgh

Forward Zach Boychuk has been claimed off waivers for the second time in a little over a month. It was announced today that the Nashville Predators claimed him from the Penguins after Pittsburgh placed him on the waiver wire yesterday. Boychuk, 23, did not record a single point in seven games with the Penguins. Forward Beau Bennett was also recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton after he was forced to be sent down yesterday to make room for center Evgeni Malkin. In addition, the team announced that they have signed forward Tom Kostopolous to a two-way, one-year deal worth $600,000 at the NHL level.
