The Pittsburgh Penguins have already clinched the second seed in the East for the postseason. Many have said that the team’s next three games are meaningless. Well, they have some meaning now. General manager Ray Shero announced today that defenseman Kris Letang will return to game action tonight at CONSOL Energy Center in an attempt to gear up for the 2014 postseason. Letang, who suffered a stroke on January 29th, has not played in a game since January 27th. The 26 year-old defenseman has been practicing with the team for weeks now in an attempt to come back. Letang has recorded 10 goals and 8 assists in 34 games this season.
