It has been quite a season so far for Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury. After being named the NHL’s Third Star of the Week recently, the Penguins announced today that the team has re-signed Fleury to a four-year contract worth $23 million. The 2009 Stanley Cup winning goalie was in the final year of his contract and was scheduled to become a free agent this summer. The deal carries an average annual value of $5.75 million, which is a $750,000 raise compared to his last contract with the Penguins.
