GAME DAY REPORT: Game 7 Pittsburgh Penguins @ NY Rangers

After disappointing 4-1 loss on home ice to the New York Islanders Tuesday evening, the Pittsburgh Penguins will look to get back to their winning ways in Madison Square Garden against the New York Rangers.

DO YOU KNOW YOUR ENEMY?
The Rangers look to finish a three-game homestand tonight against the Penguins, whom handily defeated them in their home opener earlier this season. New York are winners of three of their last four games and will play their first game of the season without injured captain, Ryan Callahan.

Taylor Pyatt plays in Callahan’s spot in the second line and former Penguin, Mike Rupp moves up to the third line.

This will be the seventh consecutive start for goalie, Henrik Lundqvist.

TROUBLE IN THE STEEL CITY?
Coming off a shaky start Tuesday night, Marc-Andre Fleury will give way to Tomas Vokoun for tonight’s start. Vokoun was a “calming presence” in Tuesday’s game against the New York Islanders.

Any line involving Brandon Sutter has yet to be scored on this season at even strength.

The Pens claimed Zach Boychuk from Carolina off of waivers, he is not expected to be in tonight’s lineup.

All of James Neal’s goals have come on the road this season.

Sidney Crosby has scored in his 15 games against the New York Rangers.

Robert Bortuzzo will be in the lineup for the first time this season.
