Cooke Suspended For 4 Games/Malkin To Undergo Surgery

Published on February 9th, 2011

-Matt Cooke has been suspended for four games. The main reason is because this is a multiple offense. That is all that needs to be said.

-Evgeni Malkin will indeed get surgery on his right knee. He suffered a torn MCL and torn ACL in a game against Buffalo last Friday. The bad news is he will miss the rest of the season including playoffs. The good news is that he should be ready by training camp. His rehab is expected to take approximately six months. Get well soon, Geno.
