Penguins Practice Report: March 1, 2011

Published on March 1st, 2011

Sorry for the delay! Technical difficulties prevented me from posting it earlier.

Notes from practice:
-The practice started with a small scrimmage where each player played with their wrong hand. In other words lefties shot right-handed and vice versa.
-Chris Kunitz, Paul Martin, and Tyler Kennedy went through the entire practice. All of them looked good.
-Kennedy was the first man onto the ice. He shot some pucks at the net.
-Kunitz is the new Mustache Boy after losing today’s shootout. It was him vs Jordan Staal in the end.
-Alex Kovalev and James Neal seem to be fitting right in with the team. Both were playing jokes with teammates.
-Dustin Jeffrey was called up this morning and practiced.
-Kovalev’s shootout goal was unbelievable. I have a video of it below.
-Zbynek Michalek finished the practice by helping a child shoot pucks at the net.
