The Penguins are becoming more and more like the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. The Pittsburgh Penguins called up LW Brett Sterling, C Ryan Craig, C Joe Vitale, and RW Nick Johnson. A lot of fans including us were wondering why Eric Tangradi and Tim Wallace were sent down yesterday, especially with the Penguins lack of forwards. Ray Shero just wanted to change things up after Tangradi and Wallace were not very effective the past couple games.
With these four added to the Penguins in the NHL, the seven top scorers for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton have been called up at some point this season. Pretty crazy stuff. The one most deserving was Johnson, who was on a seven game point streak.
